Solana, a Layer 1 blockchain, is looking to reverse its long-standing downtrend and bolster adoption by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI). On Tuesday, Solana launched a ChatGPT plugin which enables users to purchase NFTs, transfer tokens, and analyze on-chain data. The plugin can be downloaded from Github. Solana has also increased its AI accelerator grants program funding to $10M to foster the development of ML models interacting with Solana-based protocols. This move follows an extended downtrend for the project and its broader ecosystem, with many projects failing due to the insolvency of its largest investor.
